2025 City of Albany Youth Flag Football League

Get ready for an exciting season of flag football with the **City of Albany Recreation & Parks Department**! Our **2025 Youth Flag Football League** is designed for boys and girls ages **4–10** and focuses on **skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship**, and most of all—**fun**!

Whether your child is just starting out or already loves the game, our program provides a **safe and structured environment** to learn and play.
Important Dates:
Open Workouts (All Players Welcome):** August 19 & 21
Registration Deadline:** August 25
Practices Begin:** August 26
Game Dates:
September 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27
**Championship & League Celebration:** October 4
Age Divisions (by age as of September 1, 2025):

6U Division** (Ages 4–6)
8U Division** (Ages 7–8)
10U Division** (Ages 9–10)
Each division will include 4 teams with a max of 10 players per team.
Registration

$35 registration fee per player (non refundable)
Parents will purchase uniforms from vendor directly. Cost $30

Location:
Games and practices will be held at Gordan Sports Park .
Teams will practice 1–2 times a week leading up to games.

Volunteer Coaches & Support:
We’re seeking positive role models to help coach and guide teams. All coaches will be **background-checked** and supported by our ARPD team.
